hhhhhhhhhhhhh
Apr. 11th, 2011 05:07 pmhi. i am still alive. as always, i am thankful when i'm busy, but i don't have much time to sit and meditate on lj entries as much as i like to. at the current moment i am:
-working on the anniversary committee for pro rata,
-taking a weekly workshop from sandbox,
-directing AND acting for freshwater,
-assistant directing for tedious brief,
-preparing for an audition at park square, and
-reading a book to help lead a discussion for TC theatre connection.
when i am not working my day job (and sometimes when i AM), half of my time is devoted to these things. the rest of that time is either working on scheduling (or rescheduling) these things and sleeping. i have seen a couple of shows this weekend. i did join my boyfriend for a hike through minnehaha park with the dog on saturday. i do get to eat and say hello to my roommate when i think to. my home computer has a virus and i need a couple of hours to sit down, back up some files, and run some malware programs, but until then i refuse to turn on my computer. it has not been on for a week. i forgot to call my parents this weekend. i haven't been home to see them since christmas. i spend my lunch hours walking and reading at the same time because it's the only time i can think of to work out and get through all the material i need to be ingesting. the only downside to being a machine is sometimes...you only feel like a machine.
last night i went over to derek's while he was working on a project for his next show. but he didn't need me to help him, of course, and he was in the middle of things and therefore focused. he painted. i stitched. other than the music playing, it was a quiet evening. the consequence was that i have a million things to do before i sleep tonight. but i don't care. i can ride on those couple hours of calm for a bit...
