ugh. for not having a job, i feel like i'm awfully busy. moreso on the weekends i guess.
you know, i really missed variable weather while i was out west. sure, it rains now and again, but only about once every couple of months, and the showers last for about ten minutes and they're gone. so i have really championed the rain for the past couple of days.
however. i'd like to ease back into "weather" slowly. this is three days of rainy weather, and i think i've had enough for now. if i could accept the fact that it's spring, that would be okay. but this temperature is like winter out there. and as much as i love having a chance to wear all my sweaters again, i do not fancy cold fingers and toes. not yet. i will embrace and curse through my first winter back when the time comes, but for now, a little more warmth would be appreciated.
my apartment is COLD. and i don't feel justified in calling them to turn on my heat because it won't be cold forever. and i shouldn't even be in my apartment all day. i should be in an office. but everything in its time. for now, i'm relying on warm baths and blankets to keep me toasty. in fact, i'm contemplating printing out all the work i have to do and getting back into bed to do it....but we all know what that would accomplish.
