happy erzulia! day one!

hey!  it's erzulia!  it's the time for loving life and living love!  it's the time for lving up to the ironic goofiness in that statement!  and today, it's about me and my favorite bling, for i am celebrating my jewlery day.

(for those just joining us, here's the scoop on erzulia.  for those of you returning for the celebrations, huzzah!  erzulie ga rouge welcomes you!)

how i love my jewlery day.  i bought a bracelet some years back as a present for myself.  it's not often that i do that, bring myself out to a shop and say, you've been wanting this and you have been good and you have a right to have something that will bring you smiles.  it's a good memory.

it's sad though, that i only wear it once a year.  it's all purple and pink and yellow and lime crystals though, and i'm afraid that daily wear would dislodge crystals.  it will happen someday, and the loss of the first one will be the hardest.  but after that, i will feel inclined to wear it more often, and it will be an everyday bracelet and have that comfortable love to it.

i'm looking forward to that day.

maybe i should make an effort to wear it for any and all special days.  president's day is coming up, and that's a day i will celebrate (now that i feel there is something worth celebrating it for).  and rico's birfday is right around the corner....

review explosion!!!!!

so every once in a while i get these weird 3-day-span headaches and i can't figure out what's causing them. they usually just hover in the background and then spike when i stand up, which makes me not want to move around very much. and it makes me cranky. i am finally being smart and charting them now to see if they correspond to my cycle. not that that would be a comfort...there's not much i can do about it if it is. but at least i would be prepared. as it is, i may have to live in a warm bath tonight.

so while i'm cynical and cranky, let's catch up on some reviews.
