who just paid off her credit card? *hand up* omg that feels good. i just want it gone so i don't feel like i'm trapped in a job to pay off 2-year-old bills. now it's just paying off the boy, which is worry-and-interest free.

speaking of the job...did i mention that i'm feeling better? i no longer feel rushed in the mornings, and the days don't feel so long. the people are GREAT, the office is comfy ( i sit in the "casablanca" block, right next to the "to kill a mockingbird" block), the job is interesting, and the area--miracle mile--is so much more convenient than century city both in location and in what it offers. now, if we can find an apartment within walking distance (totally possible in our price range), i will consider myself ready to take on this city for real.

now, thanks to lauie's late request for my photo blog, i am off to my favorite place in LA.
who wants an investment opportunity? you? well, here's what you do. buy up all the poloroid film that you can, and put it in dry, dark storage for about 5 years.

why? poloroid has just announced that they're closing down their film factories.

so if you have an instant camera, get film now. otherwise, stock up, hold out, and be the evil e-bay supplier when old-school photo-junkies come demanding their fix. ca-ching!
