i would just like to say that this week would have been totally miserable if it wasn't for the perfect timing of my wellies buying.
snow in the mountains, landslides in miracle mile...hell, there was even a tonado warning up and down the coast in malibu/long beach/lakewood and enough hail just east of us to cause the news teams to report snowball fights.
but mostly, it's just been rain, every day this week. now now, i know it's not the shit that minnesota's been getting. but it is flooding here. and it's very very cold on top of it.
and i might be complaining more if i didn't have the pleasure of wearing pink knee-high rubber boots.
i won't even go into my troubles at work and the havoc the stress is taking on my body (namely my digestive workings) or complaints about the lack of hot water and heat in my apartment. because really...who cares for crap when you have a legitimate excuse to use your brand new wellies--an opportunity that doesn't happen often here.
grey skies are gounna clear up, put on your wellie boots.
you know what also helps? making it jareth day. it's a good combination.
dance magic dance. splash magic splash. put those wellie pinks on you, goin' through a puddle or two.
