open letter: city of bangles

i am really getting to like you. but i sense a little...egotism on your part. please allow me to take you down a peg.
we'll start easily enough...the smog. you know, i know. i'm just bringing it out in the open, so we can agree that you're not perfect.
that being said, i would like to point out your lack of simple things. like oolong tea. everywhere has oolong tea but you. and i really thought you'd have it, what with the asian contingent in attendance. and belgian waffle cookies. sure, not many belgians here, but the sheer number of people and widespread diversity would lead me to assume. and ATMs that will allow me to deposit checks. granted, this may be the fault of my financial institution back home, but they never had a problem with my depositing through wells fargo or US bank before.
also, if you could quit it with the ice cream trucks, that'd be good. it's bad enough when they have their tinkly music on full blast, playing all manner of children's songs and christmas tunes out of season. but the one that comes around my building every day around 5 plays "turkey in the sraw." ONLY "turkey in the straw." and it doesn't even play the chorus, just the verse section, over and over and over for about 30 minutes straight. it incites one to violence. i am barely holding back.
okay. whew. sorry about harshing. i really like your sun and ocean. that's nice. and the people are pretty nice and the buildings are pretty in parts. but, uh, yeah. let's work on the other things, okay?
