i am hereby declaring disloyalty to soup.
Oct. 1st, 2012 01:04 pmyou know what?
i have been keeping neutral all these years, but i think i'm ready to pick a side on soup.
i don't like it.
cowder, stew, even a sipping broth, yes. soup no. exception to the rule: tomato basil, and only if it is accompanied by a sammich filled with egg and/or cheese.
the sad victims in this are the humble oyster crackers, for i do love them so. but they seem too silly to eat without the boyancy and support of soup.
i tried out my confession on derek earlier, and he says, "i didn't realize that soup was such a big issue."
and it's not. but i don't keep a lot of it and every now and then i will pick some up for an easy lunch and i'm always done with it sooner than i mean to be. and it seems silly to keep trying to love something i do not.
other things i keep trying to love that i do not:
bob dylan
hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
exercise
raw almonds
green
