hollywood trifecta of wow.

1. "the host" got 4 out of 4 stars in the national critics' circle. this is a wow to me because a) it's horror and b) it's korean. in my experience, it's not likely that either of these would be contributing factors to an amazing film. and definitely not together. don't get me wrong, i LIKE korean films, and i LIKE horror films. that doesn't mean they're good. i have very bad taste.

2. daniel radcliffe has signed on for the final two harry potter films. yay! (this is mostly of interest to katherine.)

3. film version of "get smart" to star steve carrell. i don't care if it's obvious. my heart is flying.
