video games, you are dead to me.

"phantom hourglass" has just ruined video games for me. i can not make it past the shitty boss in the goron temple. i just can't do it. i have a guide, i've watched the youtube videos, i use up two potions every time and i still die. i've died 6 times now. usually, i never die battling a zelda boss. if i do, i always get it the second time. i don't know what it is, but this boss just doesn't give me enough time to get around him to hit him, and when i get a hit in, i bounce off so far that i can't get back in for a second hit.

i've spent the last three days trying to beat this shithead. and it has ceased being fun. it's ceased being anything but a source of bitter tears. gabe had to take the DS away from me to keep me from throwing it in rage...and i wonder what kind of sweet sound the cartridge would make if i chucked it in the bin and spat upon it.

and...so is the end of gaming for me. if i can't beat him, i can't go on in the game. and if i can't finish a game i've spent so many hours on, i just end up hating it. any zelda i play from now on is just going to remind me that there's one i'll never be able to play, so what's the point in going through the series?

and since they're the only games i really enjoyed, i guess i'm done.

fuck you, phantom hourglass. you managed to kill my buzz. not to mention steal one more thing in my life that was a distraction.
